Roger does it again!

Just got this nice note from a couple from a wedding Roger performed.

Hi Alan,
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to review your services.  I just posted a review on Yelp.  I would like to also share with you how nice our ceremony was.  Roger showed up on time, helped us take care of the license etc. and then it was show time.  Roger provided the exact kind of ceremony we were looking for.  Not only did Traci and I enjoy him but our entire family and all of our friends absolutely loved him.  He did such a great job and you can bet that we will recommend him or at least your company whenever we get a chance.

Thank you so much for everything and thank you to Roger as well.

A little rain didn’t stop them!

Congratulations to Kaleb and Danielle who got married in this picturesque setting in the Romantic rain. The ceremony was held in Calabasas and was attended by dozens of friends and family. Good job Kaleb and Daniella! Rain on your wedding day is good luck!

Ralph Marries a Very Excited Couple

Not even the unexplained absence of the best man and a flower girl could dampen the excitement of the ceremony for Leslie & Manuel, which Rev. Ralph performed at the Edgewater Chapel on December 18. Family and friends cheered and applauded as the couple were pronounced husband and wife, and the couple walked down the isle hand and hand to a very cute song called Mahna Mahna by the Muppets!

Fun Couple Married at the Chart House

Another So Cal favorite venue is the Chart House in Redondo Beach. The Catering Team is a dream to work with.

Bill and Margie were a fun loving couple who opted for a smaller ceremony at sunset surrounded by only close family and friends. There is a 6 degree of separation, as I ended up knowing another couple attending there wedding!

Here are some of the photos from the photographer, Paul Gero.

As you can see from the photos, a fantastic time was had by all!

One Round of Jose Cuervo for the Guests Attending

Roger officiated a fun wedding in Cypress today for Patrick & Traci. A small gathering but, a great bunch of people !! As soon as the bride and groom said yes, everybody did shots of Jose Cuervo 1800 Tequila !! Everybody except for Roger of course ! No drinking and officiating for this guy !! Plus Patrick the groom is a L.A. Sheriff !!

Roger also officiated a beautiful backyard wedding in San Marino today for Chris & Than. No worries of rain because they had this incredible tent sent up for the wedding and reception !! This wedding was very emotional because the groom’s mother passed away recently and we included her in many parts of the ceremony !!

Stay tuned for photos from the photographers.

Thanks Roger

The Palladio in Glendale is an awesome place to Get Married

I had never been to this venue before and boy was I impressed.

Marshall and Kelly booked me for their ceremony and I was excited to check it out.

Greek/Roman style interior was outstanding. It was clean and very helpful staff.

The ceremony was full of fun and some tears. They loved their ceremony.

Their Cake Table looked awesome.

They left me a vice video comment.

Another Wedding Gone to the Dogs

This wedding demonstrated a “tail” of love.

Alicia and Andrew came into the chapel today with there two witnesses, Bella and Jessie.

The two fluffy pups witnessed the ceremony along with Alicia’s parents and there two dogs. There was not a “bone” of contention in the room.

At the end of the ceremony the dogs “paw’s” to watch the kiss, and were “unleashed”.

It was a “wag” of a good time and we are eager to “fleas”.

He gave her his heart …. She gave him a kidney…yes her kidney

This story is the true meaning of the vows.

In Sickness and In health.

Last week I get a call from Bill. He is wanting to surprise his wife with a Vow Renewal.

21 years together but there was a catch….. on Tuesday she is donating him a kidney.

He was born with one kidney. In the last year it started to fail. She came to the rescue as hers was a match.

They showed up at my Edgewater Chapel pretending they were lost. I was dressed up as a Doctor in Scrubs and answered the door. I gave them directions to the Resturant; then He got down on one knee and proposed to her…and yes, she accepted.

I performed a fun ceremony for them with their words He gave you his heart and in return you are giving him a kidney.

We all laughed. He presented her with a new ring…they kissed and then took their first dance together as renewed lovers.

We wish them the best of luck and hope they heal fast.
